City Experience Art Workshop with Catholic Ladies’ College-August 2025
As part of the City Experience program in August 2025, Rainbow Art Class hosted Year 9 students from Catholic Ladies’ College for immersive art workshops in the heart of Melbourne. Guided by creative exploration and urban inspiration, students worked collaboratively to develop artworks that reflected their individuality, ideas, and connection to the city. These sessions fostered creativity, confidence, and engagement beyond the classroom, making the city itself a source of artistic inspiration.

We were proud to collaborate with Flying Fox to deliver an inclusive community art workshop in St Kilda, bringing together participants with disabilities, volunteers, and support workers through creativity and connection.
This two-hour interactive session provided a welcoming and supportive environment where participants could explore hands-on art activities, express themselves creatively, and build meaningful social connections. Designed for people of all abilities, the workshop focused on inclusion, confidence-building, collaboration, and joyful shared experiences through art.
The event celebrated the power of creativity to bring communities together in a fun, engaging, and accessible way.

The below vibrant artwork was created during one of our hands-on creative workshops, where children explored colour, texture, and imagination through mixed media. Featuring bold butterflies against a night-sky inspired background, the piece reflects themes of transformation, confidence, and self-expression. Each child is encouraged to develop their own artistic voice in a supportive, engaging, and joy-filled environment.
